Khovd Province
Khovd Aimag (Mongolian Ховд Аймаг ) is an aimag ( province ) of Mongolia, located in the west of the country. The capital also bears the name Khovd.
Traffic
The city's airport Khovd ( ZMKD / HVD ) has two runways ( one attached ), and is served with regular flights to and from Ulan Bator.
Population
The Khovd aimag is populated by a large number of different ethnic groups with each differing from each other, traditions, songs, costumes, languages or dialects. Thus, in addition oiratischen ethnic groups are ( Dsachtschin, Torguud, Altai Uriankhai, Ööld, Mjangad, Dörwöd ) and look for West Khalkha and Kazakhs.
