Umberto Colombo (athlete)

Umberto Colombo ( * 1880 in Brembate di Sopra, † unknown ) was an Italian athlete.

Career

Colombo was a member of the Milan Mediolanum sports club specializing in the short run routes. In 1900 he was a member of the Italian team at the Summer Olympics in Paris and walked the 100 meters and 400 meters at the start. About 100 meters he missed his third in forward travel of qualifying for the next round, about 400 meters, he retired as a fourth or fifth of its forward travel from.

His personal best time over 100 meters was 11.0 seconds set in 1898.
