Underemployed ( German: underemployed ) is an American television series that was produced in 2012 for MTV. It revolves around five friends, all stuck in a dead end career. Location of the series was Chicago.

Action

The friends Miles, Raviva, Lou, Sophia and Daphne are after graduation is far from satisfactory. Miles dreams of a career as an underwear model, but only works in a bar as a scantily clad waitresses. Sophia was then the final speaker and still dreaming of a writing career, but she now works at a donut chain at checkout. Meanwhile, Daphne has been working as an unpaid intern at an advertising agency. Lou and Raviva have ended their relationship because of their dreams. Lou has worked as an environmental activist, during Raviva still wants to become a famous singer. But then Raviva is pregnant before Lou's door.

The station ordered the series on 18 September 2011 officially. The radiance of the single season was held between January 12, 2013 on MTV on 16 October 2012.

In Germany the pay-TV channel MTV will take the series from the January 27, 2013 in the program. In free TV, the series is broadcast on VIVA as of May 4, 2013.

"MTV brings a harmless little comedy about six friends who always land on their feet again. Then the viewer can rely on and that gives a warm feeling. Or get bored pretty quickly. Depending on how you want to see it. "
