Understanding Comics

Read comics right - The Invisible Art (original Understanding Comics ) is a 1993 comic book published material, written and drawn by Scott McCloud. The German translation was published in 1994, a new edition in 2001., The author studies the definitions of comics, their historical development, the basic structure elements, as well as the various ways how these elements were used. The comic strip is regarded by McCloud as sequential art and communication medium.
