Ungmennafélagið Fjölnir

Fjölnir Reykjavík ( Isl: Ungmennafélagid Fjölnir ) is an Icelandic sports club from Reykjavík.

History

In the football club founded in 1988, rose to the Pepsideild. Until the 2008 season, he was able to keep the class before he descent into second-rate 1 deild karla. Venue is the stadium Fjölnisvöllur, which has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.

More exercised in club sports include basketball, swimming, gymnastics, handball, chess, athletics, karate, tennis and taekwondo. In the sport of chess plays Fjölnir in the highest Icelandic league.
