União da Vitória, officially Municipio de União da Vitória, is a city in the south of the state of Paraná in Brazil. It lies on the Iguaçu directly on the border with the state of Santa Catarina and forms with the opposite sister city of Porto União, the so-called " Gêmeas do Iguaçu " ( Iguaçu Twins). The city is known for its timber industry and the many waterfalls in the region.
