The Union Glacier is a large, highly rugged glacier, which is fed by several tributaries and through the middle of the Heritage Range, part of the Ellsworthgebirges in Antarctica flows. The glacier extends west of the Edson Hills and flows east between the Pioneer Heights and the Enterprise Hills. The Union Glacier was mapped by the U.S. Geological Survey ( USGS) and U.S. Navy aerial photographs from 1961 to 1966. The name was given by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US- ACAN ) in connection with the naming of the Heritage Range.
