Union of German Railway Administrations

The Association of German Railway Administrations VDEV went in 1847 during a Pest (then Empire of Austria ) held General Assembly out of the established on November 10, 1846 Association of the Prussian railways, which had been founded as a union of ten Prussian railway administrations in order, by standardizing the equipment equipment and standards to facilitate the railway operation between the administrations.

The 1884 institutionalized k.k. State Railways ( kkStB ) became members of the association.

In 1932, he changed its name as a club Central European railway administrations VMEV.
