United Nations Conference on International Organization

The conference in San Francisco, also known as United Nations Conference on International Organization was held from June 26, 1945 April 25, 1945.

The conference drew up the Charter of the United Nations, which was signed by 50 States on June 26, 1945.

Through the cooperation of the USSR and the Republic of China in the new order of peace after the Second World War it came to the Moscow Declaration by the four powers which and the fastest possible creation of a general, building on the principle of the sovereign equality of all peace-loving states organization for the maintenance of peace international security aimed.

After inclusion of France into the circle of all the responsible powers past contentious issues of the Charter of the United Nations in 1945 were cleared off the Yalta Conference in February 1945, so that the Charter at the conference in San Francisco was finally adopted.

All participants at the conference shall be the founding members of the United Nations. See also: Article 4 of the Charter.
