United Progressive Alliance

United Progressive Alliance (English for United Progressive Alliance) means the party alliance, which currently bears the Indian federal government. It is led by the Indian National Congress, which represents the largest group in the lower house of the Indian Parliament. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and members of his cabinet all belong to one of the parties of the United Progressive Alliance ( UPA). UPA Chairperson is the chairperson of the Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi.
