United States of Matsya

The Matsayas Union ( Matsya Sangha ) was an educated on March 17, 1948 merger of the Rajput principalities Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli in Rajputana region of British India. He joined on 15 May 1949 Greater Rajasthan to United Greater Rajasthan together, from which the present-day state of Rajasthan emerged.
