The Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil ( UCSG ) is a private Catholic university in Ecuador.
History
The college was founded on May 17, 1962 César Antonio Mosquera Corral, Archbishop of Guayaquil. The Jesuit priest Joaquin Flor Vasconez SJ was the founding rector. Was supported the establishment by the President of Ecuador Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy and Richard Cardinal Cushing and by Cardinal Julius Dopfner.
