University of Bihać

The University of Bihać is a university in Bihać (Bosnia and Herzegovina). It was founded on July 28, 1997.

Its origins date back to the establishment of schools of engineering in the 1970s. There are faculties of biotechnology, economics, education, law, engineering, nursing science as well as an Islamic School of Education (as of 2009). In the academic year 2007/2008 students were enrolled in 4881.

The University is a member of the European University Association. Since 2006/2007, the courses are adapted to the rules of the Bologna process.
