University of Marne-la-Vallée

The University of Marne -La- Vallée (French Université de Marne -La- Vallée, abbreviation UMLV ) is a young University of Ville nouvelle Marne -la -Vallee. It is situated 18 km east of Paris in Champs -sur- Marne. She went in 1989 initially as a branch of the University of Paris VII in the study and was operating independently in 1991.

At the University of Marne -La- Vallée around 11,500 students are enrolled. On their campus, the Cité Descartes, a total of 18 academic and research institutions are located, including the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
