The University of Thessaly (Greek Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας ) is a state university in Thessaly (Greece ), with locations in the towns of Larissa, Volos, Karditsa and Trikala. The University is a member of the network of Balkan universities. The main campus is located in Volos.

The University of Thessaly was founded in 1984 and incorporated then in five faculties. Today there are seven faculties; current president of the University is Professor Constantinos Bagiatis.

The logo of the University of Thessaly depicts the Centaur Hiron, who came from the mountains of Pelion.
