We're doing just fine ... is the second mini-album by the German punk rock band Die Ärzte, the 1984 - to be produced by the band after the EP itself completely to good to be true! - Was published by the Berlin-based label, multi-tonal.

Background

The cover shows next to the title and band name only a large cross. Because of the only five -containing songs the album is not often viewed as a " full-fledged " album. Instead, the following, published in the major label CBS Records Debil is considered debut album of the band.

The already to be too good to true! song contained " Teenager In Love " was re-recorded for this album. A third version (with additional saxophone) then followed in 1985 on the soundtrack to the film Richy Guitar, in which the doctors played the leading role.

At the time of dissolution of the band in 1988, the plate was no longer commercially available. In order to facilitate the fans to say goodbye ( and to benefit from increased during the farewell tour interest ), the five songs included here are along with the songs from Too good to be true! and early contributions to various sampler on the album The doctors sooner! re-released. The various versions of " teenage love" and " Teenager In Love (Fake ) " were here in " teenage love (real )" ( from Too good to be true! ) (From We're doing just fine ... ) renamed.

The song entitled " We're doing fine," was indeed already in 1983 in the live repertoire of the band, but was released in 1988 After us the deluge for the first time on the live album.
