Upplands Väsby

Upplands Väsby is a town in the Swedish province of Stockholm County and the historic province of Uppland.

The city is located about 30 km north- west of Stockholm, in the catchment area of the Swedish capital and main town of the municipality of the same name. A small portion (20 acres ) of the area of the village ( without inhabitant, 2010) belongs to the neighboring municipality of Sollentuna.

Economy

Upplands Väsby is the headquarters of Öhlins Racing AB, an internationally renowned manufacturer of suspension components.

Traffic

By Upplands Väsby passes the European route 4 Furthermore, the city lies on the railway line Stockholm- Arlanda Gävle, operate on the local and long distance trains. In both directions, the trunk is used with the S -Bahn -like Pendeltåg.
