Đura Džudžar

Djoura Džudžar ( born April 22, 1954 in Djurdjevo ( Backa ), Yugoslavia ) is Exarch of the Apostolic Exarchate of Serbia and Montenegro.

Life

Djoura Džudžar was consecrated on September 7, 1980 at the Greek Catholic Diocese Križevci in Croatia as a priest. On 3 March 2001, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Ukrainian Eparchy of Mukachevo of the Ruthenian Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II, at the same time he was titular bishop of Acrassus. He received episcopal consecration from Pope John Paul II on 19 March 2001, co-consecrators were the Curia cardinals Angelo Sodano and Giovanni Battista Re. The appointment for the first Exarch of the Apostolic Exarchate of Serbia and Montenegro was held on 28 August 2003.
