Urho Kekkonen's second cabinet

The Cabinet Kekkonen II was the 34th government cabinet in the history of Finland. There officiated on 17 January 1951 to 20 September 1951 ( 247 days ).

After the parliamentary elections in Finland 1948, the Social Democrat Karl- August Fagerholm and Urho Kekkonen from the Land League had led two short-lived minority governments. The end of 1950 finally drew a solution between the two strongest parties in parliament, the Social Democratic Party and the Agrarian League, together to form a government. On January 17, 1951, the government finally Kekkonen II was sworn. In addition to ministers of the Land League and the Social Democratic Party also ever a politician of the National Progressive Party and the Swedish People's Party government belonged to.

On 2 and 3 July 1951 elections finally took place, a new government was sworn in on September 20, 1951 ( Cabinet Kekkonen III).
