Uri Gordon

Uri Gordon ( born August 30, 1976 in Israel) is an anarchist theorist and activist. He is a lecturer at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in Ketura, a kibbutz north of Eilat.

Uri Gordon received his doctorate in Oxford on anarchist politics, held at the beginning of the 21st century, especially in Britain and his native Israel and was involved in several other places in the global justice movement. He worked in networks such as Indymedia, Peoples Global Action and Anarchists Against the Wall. In addition to his main work as an author and lecturer Gordon has also published in media like Haaretz and the Jerusalem Post.

Uri Gordon argues for a new heterogeneous bioregionalistischen, feminist and action-oriented grassroots anarchism.
