Urs Flühmann

Urs Flühmann (born 1962 ) is a former Swiss orienteers. 1991 and 1993 he won World Championship gold with the Swiss relay.

His first World Championship medal won Flühmann 1985 Australian Bendigo with the relay. The Swiss Willi Müller, Martin Howald, Flühmann and Alain Gafner won behind Norway and Sweden the bronze medal. 1987 reached the Swiss season in second place. In individual Flühmann was Sagvolden behind the Kent Olsson Sweden and the Norwegian Tore third parties.

Flühmann won the Swiss Championship on the long distance in 1989 and 1983, 1985 and 1987 with the season of the OLK Rafzerfeld.

On 20 May 2006 he married in Weisslingen Kathi Widler.
