Urs Güntensperger

Urs Güntensperger (* November 24, 1967 ) is a former Swiss football player and coach.

Career

Güntensperger played at various clubs in the 1st and 2nd Swiss league, including the FC Winterthur and FC Lugano. He also played three times for the Swiss U- 21st On June 30, 1991, he caused under the influence of alcohol in a car accident and had injured his forty-nine days in jail. His move to the Young Boys Bern failed and therefore he was in the 1991/92 season without a club. He subsequently played for FC Lucerne, including in the 1992/93 season in the European Cup winners. In the 1994/95 season he scored fourteen matches for FC Lucerne and divided so that the end of the season fourth in the scoring charts with the Brazilian Roberto de Assis Moreira. After the following season at FC Zurich, he moved to Germany in the 2nd Bundesliga football to Eintracht Frankfurt. For Hesse, he ran in two years in forty-four second division matches and scored eleven goals. To this end, he came up with three inserts and two goals in the DFB Cup. In 1995, he was convicted again for drunk driving to a prison term of ninety days. But this, he took up in May 1998. His move back to Switzerland to Lausanne-Sports has been accompanied by a dispute over the transfer fee to be paid before the labor court in Frankfurt. But in Switzerland, he was rarely used. Since 2000, he only played for unterklassigere clubs.

At FC Reinach Güntensperger was first employed as an instructor. For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to FC Bubendorf. However, in February 2007, he resigned as a surprise.
