Ursula Deinert

Ursula Deinert ( born October 17, 1910 in Berlin, † December 21, 1988 in East Berlin) was a German dancer and actress.

She began her artistic training by her stage career in 1934 in Essen. In Berlin it was known from 1936 as a dancer. She performed at the German Opera House, at the Komische Oper and the Schauspielhaus.

Also starting in 1936, she received movie roles in which they mainly dance and sometimes also provided vocals. In an acting point of view, however, it was generally very little required. After 1945, she worked in Hamburg, Bremerhaven and casting as ballet mistress.

1954 to 1959 she worked as a principal dancer at the Friedrichstadt Palace, at the same time she performed the first ever solo dancer at the Staatsoper Berlin. Since 1961, she lived in East Berlin as a dance teacher of the State School for Circus Arts. She was married to the set designer Dieter mountains.
