The USNS Lewis and Clark (T- AKE -1 ) is a general cargo ship of the Military Sealift Command. It is the type of the ship named after her Lewis and Clark - class. It was named after Meriwether Lewis and William Clark and their expedition.

History

T- AKE - 1 was added in 2001 in order and placed in 2004 at National Steel and Shipbuilding Company in Kiel. The ship was launched in 2005 by the stack and entered service in 2006.
