The USS Liscome Bay ( CVE -56 ) was an escort aircraft carrier of the Casablanca- class services in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific. The vehicle was put into service on August 7, 1943, and under the command of Capt.. I. D. Wiltsie provided. Initially, they should be handed over to the British Royal Navy, however, due to the large private losses she had to remain in the United States.
