USS Midway
USS Midway is a ship name of the American Navy, was awarded after the Midway Islands and after the Battle of Midway in World War II on three occasions:
- USS Midway (AG -41), an auxiliary vessel, chartered in 1942, in 1946 returned to the owner
- USS Midway ( CVE -63 ), an escort aircraft carrier, put into service in 1943, renamed St. Lo, sunk in the sea and air battle of Leyte Gulf in 1944
- USS Midway ( CV-41 ), an aircraft carrier, lead ship of the Midway class, put into service in 1945, retired in 1992 as a museum ship in San Diego since 2004
- Ship name of the United States Navy
