The USS Morris ( identifier: DD -417 ) was an American destroyer Sims class of World War II. The keel-laying ceremony was on June 7, 1938 on the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, the ship was put into service on March 5, 1940. The Morris was filed on November 9, 1945 decommissioned and sold on August 2, 1947 scrapped.
