USS Saratoga
USS Saratoga is a traditional ship name of the U.S. Navy, has been awarded six times in the American Revolutionary War after the Battle of Saratoga.

- USS Saratoga (1917 ), the cruiser USS New York (CA -2), renamed 1917, from December 1, 1917 renamed in Rochester
- USS Saratoga (CV -3 ), an aircraft carrier into service: 1927, sunk as target practice for nuclear test in 1946
- USS Saratoga (CV -60 ), an aircraft carrier into service: 1956, decommissioned 1994
In relation to this tradition diving in several Star Trek starships to that name. Including the USS Saratoga (NCC-1867) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the USS Saratoga (NCC- 31911 ) from the pilot movie of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and at least another spaceship that name.
