USS Scorpion
Six ships of the United States Navy have been named USS Scorpion:
- The first USS Scorpion was a sloop, which was 1812-1814 in the service of the U.S. Navy.
- The second USS Scorpion was a schooner that was during the British - American War in service.
- The third USS Scorpion was a geriggter as Bark sailing steamer, which was during the Mexican- American War in service.
- The fourth USS Scorpion was a patrol boat that repeatedly stood 1898-1927 in the service of the Navy.
- The fifth USS Scorpion was a submarine of the Gato class. In 1942, launched in early 1944 boat was lost.
- The sixth USS Scorpion was a nuclear submarine Skipjack class, which was put into service in 1960. It sank in 1968.
