The Ussuri River (Russian Уссури, Chinese: Wusuli Jiang,乌苏里江/乌苏里江) is a right tributary of the Amur River ( Heilong Jiang) in Russia and China.

The 897 km long Ussuri rises in the Russian Far East east-northeast of Vladivostok in the south of the Sikhote -Alin Mountains ( Coast Mountains towards Japan ). Its source is located a few kilometers west of the coast of the Japan Sea, a marginal sea of the Pacific. From there, its water turns inland, mostly in northern directions. Its headwaters to the confluence with the Arsenjewka south of Kirowski also means Ulache (Russian Улахэ ).
