Uwe Hain

Uwe Hain ( born October 18, 1955 in Schladen ) is a former German football player. In his playing career he played 45 Bundesliga games and 126 second division matches as goalkeeper. Today he is the coach and goalkeeper coach.

Career

From 1974 to 1982, he wore the jersey of Eintracht Braunschweig, 1982-1987, he was at Hamburg under contract. For the 1987/88 season he returned to the Brunswickers back to the 2nd Bundesliga. His last season in the 2nd Bundesliga, he played 1992/93 VfL Wolfsburg.

Among his greatest achievements include winning the title in the Bundesliga in 1983 and the victory in the DFB Cup in 1987 as a goalkeeper, but especially of winning the European Champions' Cup with Hamburger SV on 25 May 1983.

Although he frequently displayed excellence in its operations in the Bundesliga, he did not reach more bets because the goalkeeper Bernd Franke (Braunschweig) and Uli Stein (Hamburg) its internal association competitors were.

From 1998 to 2009 Uwe Hain was goalkeeping coach at Eintracht Braunschweig in the third division. In the season 1998/99 and 2000/ 01 he also served as interim coach.
