Uwe Kirchner

Uwe Kirchner ( born December 31, 1965) was from 1985 to 1991 football players in the GDR or NOFV Serie A, the highest East German football league.

Football career

1 FC Magdeburg

Uwe Kirchner came in 1979 as a 13 -year-old from the BSG Mansfeld Kombinat Sangerhausen 1 FC Magdeburg and ran there until 1984, compulsory junior teams. From 1982 to 1984 he was part of the contingent of junior league team of the FCM and finished in this time also his training as a mechanical engineer. For the 1985/86 season he was nominated for the Upper League 1st team as a defender and was first used already on Matchday 2, August 24, 1985 in the GDR Oberliga. He came in the 32nd minute as a replacement for the defender Rolf Döbbelin in the game first FCM - Dynamo Dresden (2:3). In his first Serie A season advanced Kirchner with 24-point game inserts and three gates to the regulars. After 1986/87 nor 19 - point league games completed, Kirchner was used only sporadically in the season 1987/88 and only came up with 13 point stakes. In recent years, Kirchner had also come to honor international selection. With the U-21 junior national team of East Germany Kirchner played 13 internationals. Although he was still reported for the Upper League 1988/89 of the FCM and had denied on July 16, 1988, the Intercup game at Odense BK for Magdeburg, Kirchner moved in August 1988 to Dynamo Dresden. Until then, he had completed 56 league games as well as point five national and two European Cup games for 1.FC Magdeburg.

Dresden, Rostock, iron and steel city

Already on Matchday 3, August 27, 1988, Kirchner was used for the first time in Dresden league team. By the end of the season he played a total of 19 times for Dynamo and won with his new team his only major success, the East German championship. In the season 1989/90 he was a knee injury to any league use. After fruitless trial with Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf and Hannover 96 and Kirchner appeared at the beginning of the season 1990/91 as a new signing for FC Hansa Rostock on to win the qualification for the first Bundesliga DFB in the new NOFV- Oberliga. Although he was in his first league game against steel ironworks city (1:1 ) is used, then denied, however, only on Matchday 4 46 minutes for the Hanseatic League. Even in October 1990, Kirchner left the Baltic coast around steel ironworks town to join. There he was employed on matchday 9th and 10th of the season for 14 or 22 minutes. At the end of the season without Rostock Kirchner NOFV- master, the last East German cup winner and was promoted Bundesliga, while iron and steel city with Kirchner managed neither to qualify for the first nor for 2nd Bundesliga. Kirchner emerged in the aftermath no longer in the higher-class football.
