V509 Cassiopeiae (abbreviated V509 Cas ), also known as HR 8752, is a star of the constellation Cassiopeia.

V509 Cassiopeiae is a yellow giant star of type G with a mean apparent magnitude of 5.10. Its distance from the Earth is at least 7800 light years. He is classified as a semi- regular variable star. Its brightness varies from magnitude 4.75 to 5.5. After RW Cephei V509 Cassiopeiae is the brightest star in the star Cep OB1 association. The exact nature of V509 Cassiopeiae and its brightness fluctuations has not yet understood; it shall be presumed, among other things, that this also a possible companion star could play a certain role.
