Attractions

Church, rectory and Kantorat form a beautiful monument ensemble. The church with west tower and recessed choir, each with a wind tower on the eastern corners goes back in the core of the Gothic period. Nave and choir were probably built around 1422 as Vach was elevated to a parish; the three-storey west tower was probably added a little later.

A special feature is the ancient ginkgo tree in the garden of the rectory.

The basket arch bridge over the Regnitz from 1788 is an interesting traffic monument from the rural area. It was built before the industrialization of the 19th century began, and renewed in 1993.
