Vaddukoddai Resolution

The Vaddukoddai resolution is a resolution that was adopted at the first National Congress of the Tamil United Liberation Front in Pannakam ( electoral district Vaddukoddai ) on 14 May 1976. The Bureau of this policy led Congress SJV Chelvanayakam. It plays a central role in the conflict between the Tamils ​​and Sinhalese in Sri Lanka and is considered the beginning of the movement for self-determination of the Tamils ​​since independence from the British Kingdom.

Even 28 years after independence from the former Ceylon, the leading Tamil politicians agreed on this resolution, which contained the following statement:
