Valera

Valera is a city in the province of Trujillo State in Venezuela and is the economic center. The city covers an area of 240 km ² and lies between the rivers Momboy and Motatán. The city has 128 190 inhabitants.

In Valera is the Universidad del Valle Momboy, a private university.

Valera has two daily newspapers the Diario de Los Andes and the Diario El Tiempo, and several radio stations, such as Angel FM 93.7, which broadcasts can also be heard via the Internet.
