Valerie Fleming

Valerie Fleming ( born December 18, 1976 in San Francisco) is an American Bobsportlerin.

Valerie Fleming lives in Foster City and is coached by Bill Tavares. Since 2003 she has been active in bobsleigh. Previously, she was athlete and reached in the time of their studies at the University of California good results on the short-range and in the javelin. After injuries and an impending End of career as an athlete she made a test drive with Jean Racine and moved as a brakeman for Bobsleigh despite initial problems. Then drove but with the pilot Shauna Rohbock. In the following years she took their start at the Bob World Cup almost invariably places in the top ten, often even on the podium. Twice, early in the season 2006/ 06 in Calgary and Park City, she won the World Cup race on the side of Rohbock and finished second in the overall standings to second place behind the bobsleigh team of Kiriasis. However, the greatest success career was winning the silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. There were 2005 in Calgary and 2007 in St. Moritz bronze medals at the Bob World Championships.
