The Val Sabbia is a valley in the province of Brescia, in northern Italy, and runs in a north -south direction into the plane of Brescia. It is the second longest valley of the Tre Valli Brescia, the other two are the Valcamonica and Val Trompia.

Geography

Val Sabbia is bounded on the east by Lake Garda, in the west by Val Trompia, the Giudicarie in the north and the River Po in the south. Bathed it is from Chiese that occurs if the Idrosee in the Val Sabbia. It forms a geographical unit with the upper valley of the Chiese, part of Trentino (Italian Provincia Autonoma di Trento).

In 2011, the then largest photovoltaic plant in Europe was opened in the valley.
