Ramosch with the Florinus Church
Valsot ( [ ˌ valzɔt ]? / I, Romansh for Lower Valley ), the name is a fusion community in the Lower Engadin, Canton of Grisons, Switzerland. It was created on 1 January 2013 from the communities Ramosch and Tschlin.
The project was launched with an information meeting mid-June 2009 under the name Ramosch - Tschlin. On 21 October 2011, the merger agreement was approved in two community meetings. In April 2012, the Grisons Grand Council ( cantonal parliament ) approved the merger.
