The Vanån is a river in Dalarna in Sweden.

The Vanån has a length of about 110 km. It ends at Vansbrosimningen in the Västerdal. The river is in Sweden by the discharge of the Vansbrosimningen ( Vansbroschwimmen ), in which the participants about 2 km in the Vanån and 1 km in the Västerdal cover known.

At the river several hydropower plants were built, for example north of the municipality of Mora.
