Vance Joy

Vance Joy is the stage name of Australian singer-songwriter James Keogh from Melbourne. Keogh borrowed the name Vance narrative character in Peter Carey's Bliss book.

Biography

Vance Joy is at Atlantic Records and released in early 2013 his first EP titled God Loves You When You're Dancing. This was followed by a sold-out club tour of the major Australian cities. The single Riptide appeared in June 2013 and went into the Australian singles charts.

Keogh has a degree from Monash University in law and played between 2008 and 2009 in defense of the Australian Football Club Coburg Tigers, the reserve team of the AFL clubs Richmond Tigers.
