Vanløse Station

Vanløse is an aboveground S- and U -Bahn station in the Danish capital Copenhagen, in the same district Vanløse. The station is served by lines M1 and M2 of the Copenhagen metro system.

The first station was put into operation on 15 June 1898. One innovation was the station for the S -tog on 23 September 1941. The present station was opened on 12 October 2003 for the newly built metro section Frederiksberg Vanløse. The station is above ground in high position. There are transit traffic in the lines H and C of S -tog as well as into various bus routes.
