Vardges Ulubabyan

Wardges Aschoti Ulubabjan (Armenian Վարդգես Աշոտի Ուլուբաբյան; born November 8, 1968 in Stepanakert ) is a politician and member of parliament of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.

Life

In 1980 he finished secondary school N 8 After finishing school, he worked for two years in the capacitor business. From 1982 to 1984 he served in the Soviet army and then to 1986 he studied at the Institute for construction in the city of Penza in Russia. In 1986 he continued his studies at the Institute of Culture in Penza and in 1988 he graduated from the Faculty of theater directing. After he returned to Stepanakert in 1988, he worked as an assistant director on the radio and television committee of the Autonomous Oblast of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Since 1988, he first worked as a TV operator in the Ministry of Defence of Armenia, information and propaganda, and then as a television director in the Department of Defense Army NKR for information and propaganda.

In 2003 he was released and for many years of service, he went on pension. From 2001 to 2007 he made distance learning journalism at the State University of Saint Petersburg. From 2007 to 2008 he worked in public television Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2008 he was appointed as head of the Office of archives.

Wardges Ulubabjan is married and has three children.

Policy

In the elections to the fifth National Assembly on 23 May 2010, he was by proportional representation by party list " Free Homeland" elected Member of Parliament, where it is a member of the Standing Committee on Culture, Science and Education for Youth and Sports.

Awards

Wardges Ulubabjan is " the brave sons Arzachs Maternal Gratitude" awarded the Order "Battle Cross" of the 2nd Gradesund, with the medal.
