Moormerland in the district of Leer
Veenhusen is a town in the municipality Moormerland in Lower Saxony, Leer district.
The formerly independent municipality forms since the municipal reform, which took effect on 1 January 1973, along with ten other villages the community Moormerland.
The place had on December 31, 2007 3848 inhabitants.
The Veenhuser church was built in 1400 and houses a built in 1801-1802 by Johann Gottfried Rohlfs organ, which is still largely preserved.

1927 The Wolves "Fortuna" Veenhusen eV was founded as a pure football club. He is now a multi-genre club with approximately 1000 members.
