The Wel (Russian Вель ) is a left tributary of the Waga in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in northwestern Russia.

The wave has its origins in a swamp area south of the urban-type settlement Konosha. From there it flows in a northeasterly direction, turns later to the southeast. It refers to the two right-hand tributaries Wottschiza and Tawrenga near the village of Bolshaya Gora. Then flows to the northeast.
