Veljko Milanković

Veljko Milankovitch (Serbian Вељко Миланковић, born January 5, 1955 in Kremna to Prnjavor, † February 14, 1993 in Belgrade ) was a Serbian leader of the battalion Vukovi sa Vučjaka within the 1st Krajina Corps of Vojska Republike Srpska.

Milankovitch first fought in the Croatian and then in the Bosnian civil war on the Serbian side against the Croats and the Bosniaks in the Republika Srpska and Republika Srpska Krajina. During the war he participated in combat operations in the places Derventa, Modriča and Okučani among others. His unit was involved in the military operation corridor '92.

On February 14, 1993 Milankovitch died in a hospital in Belgrade after he was seriously injured as a result of combat operations.
