VentÄ— Cape

The wind Burger Corner ( Lithuanian VENTES ragas ) (55 ° 21 ' N, 21 ° 12' O55.3521.2Koordinaten: 55 ° 21 ' N, 21 ° 12 ' E) is a tongue of land in Lithuania, which projects into the Curonian Lagoon. At the top since 1863 is a 11 m high lighthouse, which is no longer in operation today, however. In 1929, a bird observatory was built by Professor Tadas Ivanauskas here. There is now also a museum.

1360 was built by the Teutonic Order a castle, which should afford protection to the waterway of which opens here in the Curonian Lagoon estuary arm Atmata of Memel. This castle is no more.
