Vera Schmiterlöw
Vera Schmiterlöw ( born July 19, 1904 in Varberg, † September 9, 1987 in Stockholm) was a Swedish actress.
Life
The officer's daughter visited after their schooling a drama school and received at the beginning of the 1920s an engagement at Dramatan. At the same time began her film career. Already in her second film by director Thomas Grail myndling Gustaf Molander, she took the lead female role.
In 1926, she was brought to Germany, where she was involved in several silent films. In 1930 she returned to Sweden and was limited here largely on their stage career. She is the half sister of the artist Bertram Schmiterlöw.
