Věra Suková

Věra Suková, born Pužejová ( born June 13, 1931 in Uherské Hradiště, † May 13, 1982 in Prague) was a Czechoslovak tennis player.

Her greatest success in her career was reaching the Women's Final at Wimbledon in 1962, though they lost to Karen Susman in two sets. As a team manager, she won with Czechoslovakia in 1975 Fed Cup. In 1957 she won the mixed doubles with her partner Jiří Javorský the final of the French Open against Edda buding and Luis Ayala 6:3 and 6:4.

Her two children Helena Suková and Cyril Suk were also tennis players.
