Verena Rehm

Verena Rehm Carmen ( born May 14, 1984 in Neuburg an der Donau, Germany ) is a German singer who was best known as part of the dance formation Groove Coverage, and was to be seen until 2003 in most of the videos of the band. Since 2012 she is back on the stage itself and can be seen in music videos by DJ Housekat.

Life

Childhood and youth

From a young age Rehm took singing lessons and played piano for 8 years and attended a musical school. Her first stage experience she gained with the cover band " Querbeet ". After 4 years as lead singer of the band went their separate ways.

Rehm is in a relationship with producer Axel Konrad since 2007. Meanwhile, the couple got engaged. Together they have a young daughter. Despite the pregnancy, she continued to work in the studio and on stage her comeback with Djane Housekat.

Breakthrough Groove Coverage

2001, the producer Axel Konrad and Ole Wierk became aware of the young singer. With the debut single "Moonlight Shadow", the band gained great national and international success. Due to the pregnancy of singer Melanie Münch, 2002, until then only as a background singer employed Verena Rehm starred in music videos such as " God Is A Girl" or "The End". On the albums by Groove Coverage Rehm only be heard in the background as before, exceptions are songs like "Rock " from the album 21st Century or " Lullaby for Love" from the album Covergirl.

Other projects

Except for Groove Coverage Rehm worked as a singer and songwriter on the album " Reckless " by Special D.. She has published various synonyms such as Spring Break, Renegade Masterz or Age Pee, 8 more songs. Including Crystal Ship and Big Bad Love.

School of Music

Rehm provides full and half year old since 2004 even singing and piano students.

2012: Comeback Stage

Since 2003, Rehm has occurred no longer live. In 2012 she took with DJane Housekat & Rameez My Party on the title, which climbed quickly to a number of chart peaks. From zero to fourth place in the official Media Control Charts, first place in the I- Tunes charts and number four in the Austrian charts. 6 May 2012 Google since their retreat from the media celebrated for the first time in 2003, in the ZDF television garden her stage comeback.
